In order for your lungs to work properly, it is important that your other organs work properly. Drinking lots of tea and plant-based beverages will help in maintaining your organs’ health.

Some people have serious lung problems even though they have never smoked a single cigarette in their life, while some people smoke for many years and do not have any kind of lung problems. This means that it is the organism’s defense mechanism that is responsible for the organ’s health.

The following three-day detoxification will help you to cleanse your lungs.

On day one you need to drink a cup of plant-based tea before going to bed. This will eliminate toxins from the intestines and will prevent constipation. You do not need to do anything in particular for your lungs. Being able to allow proper functioning of other organs will be enough for the first day.

On day two you need to drink a glass of water mixed with fresh lemon juice before breakfast. Squeeze the juice out of two lemons and add it in 300 ml of water. If you do not like the taste, you can always replace it with grapefruit or pineapple juice. These juices are rich in antioxidants which strengthen the immune system and also help the respiratory organs. Next,  drink a glass of carrot juice between breakfast and lunch. This juice will help in alkalizing your body.

On day three you need to drink 400 ml of cranberry juice before you go to sleep. The juice will help in reducing bacteria in the lungs.
