However the good news is that there are foods that can clean your lungs. If you are not able to quit smoking then consume these foods very often.

Orange and lemon – these citrus fruits are rich in vitamin C. They affect positively to whole organism especially in the smokers because smoking reduces the level of this vitamin. The lemon is indeed more powerful than the oranges and in the fight against the nicotine it strengthens the immune system and cleanses the skin and pores with reducing the negative symptoms from smoking.

Broccoli – Broccoli is one of the healthiest vegetables who contains large percentage of the B, B5 and C vitamins. Lass of these is caused by improper functioning of the body. Broccoli contains a high percentage of vitamin C also, and it cleans the lungs of nicotine and maintains the healthy metabolism. Consume this healthy vegetable as often as possible.

Spinach – It contains folic acid or vitamin B9 that are containing properties for removing nicotine from the body. The nicotine can cause disrupted sleep rhythm, so smokers often have problems with interrupted sleep.

Ginger – It is well known that ginger has properties to keep out the toxins from our body. It is best to be consumed fresh.
