-- 1 cup of chopped onion
-- ½ cup of honey
-- 1 tablespoon of cloves
-- 1 tablespoon of ginger
Put chopped onions with spices in a deep pot. Add the ½ cup of honey. Put this mixture on a low fire and let it simmer for about 20 minutes. Stir the mixture every few minutes. The pot should stay closed all the time.
-- After 20 minutes put away the pot from the fire and strain. The liquid is placed in a glass jar with a loose lid and stored in a dark room for a few weeks. The dose for children under 10 years of age is 1 teaspoon, and for children over 10 and adults is 2-3 tablespoons.
