Dates grow in large palm clusters. They contain many beneficial compounds and therefore, in Arab countries, are consumed on a daily basis. These fruits are easy to pick, easily stored and transported, and therefore are easily available in stores worldwide.
Dates contain natural sugars which are in the form of glucose and fructose. Ground dried dates soaked in water, in which previously stood overnight, are a good remedy for strengthening the heart and its functions. Dates are very effective natural cure against aging, but they also are a natural remedy for a hangover. This fruit soothes nerves and it has been proven that this sweet fruit, due to the large amounts of calcium, magnesium and phosphorus, can preemptively act against cancer.
