Varicose veins may occur as a result of poor circulation. If this is not treated in time it may lead to thrombosis and other serious diseases. There are numerous different medicines that can alleviate u prevent varicose veins. Calendula is one of those natural herbs which is proved to be very effective remedy for varicose veins.
Calendula blooms in April and May and can be found in meadows and gardens. In addition, we will present how to prepare homemade calendula ointment for varicose veins.
- Two hoard of calendula (flowers, stems and leaves)
- 500 gr. of pig fat (lard)
Two handfuls of calendula are chopped into small pieces. Lard is heated in a suitable container and then is added to the calendula. Allow this mixture to boil briefly, then, remove the pot from the fire. The next day heat the mixture up until it becomes liquid. Drain this mixture and remove the pieces of calendula.
The prepared mass is stored in a jar or other suitable bowl. Apply this medicine to the affected areas every day (several times a day).
