Harvard Scientist Urging People to Stop Drinking This Type of Milk Immediately

Research has been done for years on the various kinds of milk.  One year dieticians say you must drink full cream milk, the next year skim milk is the fad, the year after that it is low fat milk.

We have now learned that low fat milk is really bad for you. 

There are many reasons why you should consume or drink full fat dairy products.  In its raw and organic state, which means coming from grass fed cows, full fat dairy has many benefits.

Health benefits to full-fat dairy products

Health risks to low-fat dairy products

Low fat dairy may be low on fat but it the products are fill with sugar.

Sugar is toxic, causes disease and illness, responsible for weight gain, addiction and in many cases, has been linked to cancer.

Low fat products are also filled with the wrong fats, such as trans-fat and refined polyunsaturated fats.  These are often found in vegetable oils, but also in milk and coconut oil.

Sometimes, dairy products are sold to you as ‘organic’.  But you need to be very careful and check all labels.  Research has been done that shows there are grass fed cows that are not only grass fed.  Their milk is toxic too.

Parents often give their children low fat chocolate milk as a ‘treat.’  In reality, they are giving their children sugar sweetened milk.   The sugar is so bad that it outweighs any benefits that may come from the dairy. 

Should we be having dairy at all?

There are many schools of thought that feel we do not need dairy at all.  We can get calcium from several other foods including green leafy vegetables, nuts, beans, legumes and sardines.

In fact dairy may be filled with many surprise ingredients, including antibiotics.  It is so important to check the source of your dairy, make sure that it is organic and from grass fed cows only, and know what you are putting into your bodies.  It is quite possible vegans are right in that we do not need dairy and conventional off the shelf dairy products are more detrimental to our health than anything else.
