Freckles have a form of pigmented spots. They are small spots that usually appear on the hands, arms, face and neck or other parts of the body that are commonly exposed directly to the sun. They usually have light brown to black color.
Hands are the most affected by this phenomenon, but fortunately this peeling can be very helpful because it eliminates the top layer of dead cells of the epidermis which brings pigment changes.
Peeling for removing freckles
-- 1/2 a cup of brown rice
-- 1 tablespoon of agave syrup
-- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
Method of preparation:
Crush the brown rice finely in order to make it in powder form. Mix it with the other abovementioned ingredients in order to obtain homogeneous mixture. Apply the resulting mixture on your arms, which need to be completely dry, and massage with circular motions gently and firmly in duration of one or two minutes. Wash the arms and apply regular cream afterwards. Practice this treatment once a week.
Why and how the peeling acts?
Rice has a calming effect on the skin and is a great tool for peeling. It possesses antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.
Nectar from the agave cactus has great hydration power and is excellent as a peeling ingredient because it contains natural sugar that has the power to clean and helps the skin to retain moisture.
Lemon has the power to erase freckles. It actually whitens and removes dead cells. The fruit contains AHA (alpha-hydroxy acid), citric acid, and vitamin C and possesses strong antibacterial effect. Eventually lemon positively impacts on reducing hyperpigmentation due to its whitening properties. It is also a mild natural skin peeling.
