1.Not having frequent urination
Normally you should urinate about 6 to 7 times daily, this number may vary from person to person as we don’t necessarily drink the same amount of water but on an average 6 to 7 times daily is normal. If you urinate less than 3 times daily you are not drinking sufficient volumes of water and you need to drink more water.
If you don’t consuming adequate amounts of water then you will not be able to get rid of the toxins in your kidneys and this can be damaging to your kidneys.
2.Having dry skin
Water hydrates your skin and leaves it looking bright and radiant. When you don’t consume sufficient water your skin will be dry and it will look this way even when you apply moisturizing lotion to it.
Dehydration is a major cause of most headaches. Normal headaches are slightly different from dehydration induced headaches because in the latter you will have increased pain when you attempt to move. - Having colored urine
The color of your urine is also an indicator of your water intake; if you have clear colored urine then you are well hydrated. However, if you have colored urine then you are not well hydrated and you need to drink sufficient amounts of water.
- Feeling hungry
If you have cravings especially not long after a meal then it may mean that you are not well hydrated and you need to drink more water. When you drink sufficient amounts of water you will curb those cravings. It’s not every craving that you have that means you need to have a meal or snack.
- Feeling dizzy
Having lightness in your head or feeling dizzy may mean you are dehydrated. So don’t panic just drink water and you will feel much better. This condition is quite common among athletes who have to train and participate in harsh weather conditions and are therefore prone to being dehydrated and feeling dizzy.
- Chronic dehydration
When you are not taking sufficient amounts of water daily then you stand the risk of being chronically dehydrated. In this case you are most likely going to exhibit the following symptoms;
