- Helps with problems with blackheads
Lemon has antibacterial and antifungal effect and therefore represents a natural alternative in the treatment of acne. Rub your face with a slice of lemon. There is another alternative -- add a few drops of honey mixed with the juice of half a lemon and apply it on areas where you have blackheads. After 10 minutes wash the area with cold water.
- Lemon lightens stains on face
Lemon juice contains citric acid and evens skin color. Be careful if you have sores on the face, because it may hurt you.
- It whitens teeth
Just like banana, lemon is a natural teeth whitener. Dissolve baking soda and lemon juice and apply the mixture on your teeth no longer than one minute.
- Oily skin
Moisten cotton with lemon juice, then moisten your face at night and rinse it in the morning. The skin will no longer be oily, at least not as before.
