One bowl of whole grain cereal contains about 13 grams of carbs. Combine the cereal with the following five healthy foods:
One large apple contains only 27 grams of carbohydrates and 114 calories. Also, it contains 5 grams of fiber and 1.5 grams of fat.
Potato is known to be loaded with starch. Medium sized potato has 24 grams of carbohydrates, 105 calories and a good percentage of vitamin A and potassium.
One cup of chickpeas contains about 35 grams of carbohydrates, 6 grams of which are sugars. Also in this volume there are around 120 calories and 11 grams of protein and as much fiber.

Given that this milk is obtained from the soybean seed, and it is rich in complex carbohydrates, soy milk has not been spared from this list. One cup of soy milk contains 15 grams carbohydrates, 4 grams fat, 8 grams of protein and only 131 calories.
Raisins are full of carbohydrates. Only one-quarter cup of raisins has about 33 grams of carbohydrates, which is more than two slices of bread.
Certainly this is no reason not to enjoy them, as in a cup of raisins has 123 calories, 1.5 grams of fiber and 309 milligrams of potassium.
