5 Easy Soaks To Rebalance Good Bacteria And Banish Stinky Feet Forever

You probably already think that the sweat from your feet is making this ugly smell but you are wrong. There is a bacteria on your skin that feeds off the moisture and indeed it can be controlled so your feet can smell fresh and be clean again.

Few soaks are the right solution for you and this is how you will prepare their mixture.

1.Epsom Salt Foot Soak – Odor is neutralized by Epsom salt. Replenish body’s magnesium levels. All you need is 1/2 cup of Epsom salt, 8 cups of warm water and large bowl to soak your feet in. Start with dissolving the 1/2 cup of Epsom salt in 8 cups of water. Soak the feet for 30 minutes 1-2 times daily.

2.Sage and Rosemary Soak – Rosemary is antibacterial and antifungal indeed. The herbs are both stringent and it minimizes the production of sweat from your feet. Take 1 teaspoon of dried rosemary, 1-2 teaspoons of dried sage and large bowl to soak the feet. Fill a foot basin with boiling water and add the herbs to it. Let it steep and then when it is cooled put the feet in. Soak 30 minutes, 2 times daily.

3.Baking soda and citrus soak – we had many articles with baking soda and we already know it makes miracles. It has strong anti-cleaning properties and it helps control odor, kill fungus and softens skin. Take ¼ cup of baking soda, 8 cups warm water, juice of 1 lemon and large bowl. Put the baking soda into your foot basin and add cover approximately with water. Squeeze the lemon, and mix the juice with it. Soak the feet for 20 minutes.

4.Vinegar Soak – getting rid of odor is one of the jobs vinegar does. It kills of the bacteria and unpleasant smell. Take 1/2 cup of apple cider vinegar and 5-8 cups of warm water. Fill a foot with the water and after add vinegar and mix it. Soak them twice daily for 15 minutes and rinse them with cold water.

5.Black tea soak – although it is a bit unusual many people are satisfied with this method. Take 5 bags of black tea, 4 cups of hot water and of course a bowl. Pour the boiling water into foot basin and then add the tea. Leave the tea about 10 minutes and after cooling down soak the feet for 20 minutes.
