Shakes are easily prepared and are full of vitamins and other nutrients. Here are several shake recipes which will be great combination with the hot summer days.
Blueberry-coconut water ice shake
Put 300 grams of cold coconut water in a blender, together with half a cup of ice, ¾ of a cup of frozen blueberries, one teaspoon of lemon juice and one tablespoon of agave syrup. Mix all the ingredients well. If you like your shake creamier, add half a frozen banana in the mixture. This shake contains all the ingredients our body needs (fiber, antioxidants,, vitamins, minerals etc.).
Put in a blender the following ingredients: 4 cups of frozen watermelon pieces, juice of three lemons or limes, ten mint leaves, a cup of coconut water and little bit of sea salt. Mix them all good and your shake is ready. This shake will bring your energy back after physical activity.
Pepper and tomato cocktail
Chop one pepper and 2 tomatoes in small pieces and put them in a blender together with 10 dl of water and 2 to 3 fresh coriander leaves and mix. If you want to, add some celery. All of the ingredients contain lots of vitamin C and antioxidants which are great for immunity improvement.
Put juice of four oranges, one banana, one third of a cup of frozen peaches, half a cup of frozen pineapple and 1/3 of a cup of ice in a blender and blend. This cocktail has an abundance of vitamin C.
Mango, raspberry and mint shake
Blend 2 cups of fresh raspberries, 2 previously cleaned mangos, 2 cups of cold water, juice of one lemon, several mint leaves, little bit of salt and 2 ice cubes. Raspberries will strengthen your immune system and will also bring back your energy.
