Toxic dyes such as yellow dye #5 and red dye #40 are just two of the highly dangerous and toxic petroleum based components in your favourite snacks.

It is also alarming that while some other countries have identified these products toxic components and have indeed prohibited these snacks in their country such as the UK and European Union which banned these products in 2009 and 2010, the FDA is yet to ban these petroleum by-products included in American foods.

They may appear completely harmless but they are far from that.

These snacks are full of TBHQ and this cause’s stomach cancer in extreme cases and nausea, anxiety, vomiting and even delirium.

Rather than eat these snacks you can try organic alternatives like green leafy vegetables and fruits in season. These are much more healthy and beneficial to your wellbeing.

Vitamin supplements have also been known to include these food dyes. Other products like toothpaste, hand cream, laundry detergents and shampoos are processed with the dyes as well.

It is important to always read the labels of all products before buying so as to protect yourself and family from these toxic dyes.
