Breathing exercises are among the best lung cleansing methods. They are not just about taking a deep breath, it is so much more. Here is the first lung cleansing exercise.
This exercise can really help you in the process of cleansing your lungs and it will also make sure you have a great start of the day if you do it in the morning.
-- Stand up and relax. Keep your arms on the sides and make sure your feet are a little apart.
-- Take several deep breaths through your mouth. Exhale through your nose.
-Breathe in through your nose and slowly exhale through your mouth until you are out of air. There is lot of air in your lungs so do not stop exhaling right away.
Not all air is replaced while we breathe. Our lungs keep some of it in them.
Next, start heavily gasping so the diaphragm can release all air from your lungs. Now you should exhale through the mouth a few times. Make sure there is not any air left in the lungs. If you do this correctly you might feel like your stomach is touching your spine.
-- Inhale through the nose so you can fill your empty lungs.
-- Make sure your lungs are filled with air. Hold the deeply inhaled breath for 5 seconds, count slowly. At this very moment every single cell in your body is filled with oxygen.
-- The last step to this exercise is to release all the air through your mouth.
You can return to the fourth step and repeat steps 5 and 6 as much as you want. What these exercises have in common is that they both will strengthen your stomach.
